（節錄於2016年10月23日 明報）談及定居台灣逾30年原因，稱自己是廣東人而非香港人，只是在香港經過一段時間，「我對香港一點感情都沒有」，更指自己很不喜歡香港，因為香港是「殖民地」，表示自己「民族性非常高」。
Quoted from Mingpao on 23rd October, 2016, Mr. Fung talked about the reason why he migrated to Taiwan. He declared himself a Cantonese, but not Hongkongese. He only transited to Hong Kong for a while and did “not have any emotional attachment towards this place”. He did not like Hong Kong at all because it was a colony while his patriotic sentiment was very strong.
